Postcode Professional can now update any column in an existing table with territory name.

This means you can bring in your own table of any columns (eg with territory, values, build territories from the table..) edit the territories using Postcode Professional and update any nominated territory column and export original table for sharing with other applications.

Step 1 - Start with original table.

The territory column to be updated is "Region Abbrev" and contains several codes (EAV,blank,WEV) for closely related areas.

Step 2 - This is how the territories from that table look. It is intended to use the editing tools of Postcode Professional to re-allocate the territories as labelled to the larger WEV territory.

With the final edits done this is what the map looks like now.

Step 3 - Simply pick the table and column to be updated.

Review the results!

Note the changes of earlier records will now show as WEV accurately reflecting the map editing.

Even the non-mappable GPO boxes such as 3001 are recognised handled properly.
